title: Campaign Plans
description: Find, favorite and delete your campaign plans in the console, and star a plan from its own page.
---

A **Campaign Plan** is what you mean to run: an envelope, a window, and the line items you place against it. A connected agent reads the plan and can turn it into live campaigns.

Campaign plans are **private to your organization**.

## The list

Open **Campaign plans** in the console sidebar. The list at `/campaign-plans` shows one row for each plan. A row shows:

- the **name**, and the **status** of the plan,
- the **description**,
- the **envelope**, the **allocated** amount, the **unallocated** amount and the **window**,
- the number of line items, and the channels they use,
- the avatars of the [Assignees](#assignees).

The whole row opens the plan.

### Assigned to me

The **Assigned to me** button is above the list. Select it to see only the plans where you are an Assignee. The address of the page holds the filter (`?assignee=me`). A reload keeps the filter. Select the button again to show every plan.

When the filter is on and you are not an Assignee of any plan, the page says that nothing is assigned to you. Select **Clear the filter** to show every plan again.

A row shows the avatars of at most three Assignees, and a count of the others, such as **+2**. Screen readers read the name of each Assignee.

## The ⋯ menu

Each row has a **⋯** button. Its label is **Actions for** and the name of the plan. The menu holds:

- **Add to favorites**, or **Remove from favorites** when the plan is a favorite,
- **Delete…**, in the red style, after a separator.

**Delete…** opens a confirm dialog. The plan and its line items go away. Anything the lines already created stays live in the ad account.

The button shows when the pointer is on the row, when the keyboard focus is in the row, and while the menu is open. On a touch screen, the button is always visible. The button keeps its space when it is hidden, so the row does not move. Press Tab to reach the button, then Enter to open the menu.

## Favorites

A plan that is a favorite shows a small filled star after its status. Screen readers read the star as **Favorite**.

A plan that is a favorite also shows in the **Favorites** section at the top of the sidebar, above Monitor. Select the name to open the plan. The oldest favorite shows first. The section is hidden when you have no favorites. A new name shows in the section after you rename the plan. A deleted plan leaves the section.

A favorite is yours. It belongs to you in the active organization, and other members do not see it. The star changes at once. If the change fails, the star goes back and a message tells you why.

## The page of a plan

The app header shows the path, **Campaign plans / the name of the plan**, and a star button after the name. Select the star to add the plan to your favorites. Select it again to remove the plan. The star is on each tab of the plan: **Overview**, **Updates** and **Line Items**.

### Assignees

The rail of the page has an **Assignees** property. An **Assignee** is a member of your organization who is accountable for the Campaign Plan. The property shows a stack of avatars. Select it to open a list of the members, with a check box for each one. Check a member to add that member as an Assignee. Clear the check box to remove the Assignee. The change shows at once, and a reload keeps it. If the change fails, the page restores the stack and shows an error.

A Campaign Plan has at most 10 Assignees. At 10, the list shows a message, and you must remove an Assignee before you add another.

An Assignee gets no extra access. Every member whose role can edit Campaign Plans can still edit the plan. A change to the Assignees does not change the revision or the status of the plan. An approved plan stays approved.
